What Is This Scholarship?
The Melajoom Foundation Tertiary Scholarship provides direct financial support to undergraduate students from Owo Local Government Area in Ondo State who are enrolled in universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education in Nigeria.
Awards go directly to the student’s bank account. This is practical, targeted support for bright students from Owo who face financial barriers to completing their education.
Who Can Apply?
All of the following must apply:
- Be an indigene of Owo Local Government Area with a valid Certificate of Local Government of Origin
- Be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited university, polytechnic, or college of education (part-time students are not eligible)
- Be studying at undergraduate level (postgraduate and Master’s students are not eligible)
- Be a Fresher (100 level) or Continuing Student (including final year)
- Freshers: Minimum JAMB score of 250
- Continuing Students: Minimum CGPA of 3.5
Students currently receiving another scholarship may apply but must disclose this on the form.

200 Level and above: What has been your most significant academic achievement or challenge, and how have you maintained your academic performance? (Maximum 300 words)
