Purpose of the Job:

Installing, maintaining and repairing HVACR systems. Identifying maintenance risks on Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigerator systems.

Education, experience and competencies required:

 National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

 Ability to accept job assignments and carry out as instructed.

 Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.

 Good verbal and written communication skills.

 Be flexible on working hours due to operational demands.

 Be firm and assertive when necessary.

 Must be honest and have integrity.

 Must be accurate with attention to detail.

 Must be proactive and have good initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 The air conditioning technicians install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioners.

 Ability to perform regular maintenance work on the cooling system.

 Ability to install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged or broken.

 Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.

 Ability to inspect and maintain refrigerators, ice machines, chilled water systems and cold rooms.

 Installation, maintenance and repairs of split AC unit, AHU and fan coil unit.
