Eric Bleumink Scholarship 2025/2026 | Fully Funded Overview

The Eric Bleumink Fellowship is a prestigious scholarship program offered by the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. It supports high-achieving students from developing countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at the university.

Eric Bleumink Scholarship 2025/2026 | Fully Funded Eligibility

Candidates must:

• Have received provisional or unconditional admission for a Master’s program before February.

• Have excellent academic performance, preferably confirmed by letters of recommendation.

• Have outstanding grades during their undergraduate studies.

• Meet the English language proficiency requirements of their chosen program.

• Be available for the entire duration of the Master’s program.

• Be in good health (for Dutch health insurance purposes).

• Be unable to finance the study through other means.

• Hold nationality from an eligible country (see list below).

The scholarship is open to students from:

• Africa: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Sudan, Zimbabwe, etc.

• Asia: India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.

• Europe: Ukraine, Uzbekistan, etc.

• Latin America & the Caribbean: Bolivia, Honduras, etc.

• Oceania: Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, etc.

The fellowship covers:

Eric Bleumink Scholarship 2025/2026 | Fully Funded Selection Process

• Students cannot apply directly for the Eric Bleumink Fellowship.

• The University of Groningen Admission Office, in collaboration with faculty admission boards, nominates eligible candidates.

• To be considered, applicants must complete their Master’s program application by December 1, 2025.

• Only students who receive a provisional or unconditional admission offer before February will be considered for nomination.

• Due to high competition, only a limited number of grants are awarded each year.

Application Deadline

• December 1, 2025 – Deadline to apply for a Master’s program.

• Before February 2026, Nominees will be contacted by the university.
