Admissions Manager
The Admissions function is central to the success of the school. The Admissions Manager will provide a highly effective admission function, enrolling the target number of qualifying students into the school each year and executing the student retention strategy.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Handle inquiries from potential parents/guardians and oversee the entire process until the student starts school.
· Meet the Term and Year admissions targets by managing the end-to-end admissions strategy.
· Stay up to date with best practices across the sector and update the senior leadership team on market trends.
· Seek to improve the customer experience across the entire admissions process.
· Manage the admissions database and ensure it is always updated, extracting reports and data to inform future
enrolment.
· Identify new channels to meet the target audience.
· Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and organize Open Day events and follow up after the events to
maximize conversion.
· Maximise prospective family visits by ensuring that meetings with the school head and other appropriate
members of staff take place, and a pleasurable campus visit is achieved.
· Be the main contact person and the ‘voice’ of the school at recruitment events.
· Provide support in developing a schedule for overseas school fairs and agent visits while staying informed about
global market trends, strategies for enhancing recruitment numbers, and fostering diversity within the boarding
community.
· Collaborate with overseas agents to establish an essential system to facilitate a seamless admissions process
and student visa procedures.
· Provide weekly and monthly analysis of student recruitment to the line manager.
· Assist the Marketing team in updating all Admissions literature.
· Attend department meetings to discuss deliverables and expectations across the team.
· Manage, coach, and develop direct reports.
· Work with the Finance Department to ensure clear communications relating to registration fees, deposits, school
fees and the processing of leavers.

· Keep up to date with educational policies, curriculum, and the experience we offer. This will entail regular
meetings with Heads of School, their deputies and other staff as required.
· Administer Admissions testing in a fair, timely and transparent way.
Experience:
o Educated to degree level.
o 5 years experience in a sales role in the high net-worth customer segment.
o Experience delivering exceptional customer service and managing long-term relationships with high-value
customers.
o Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Skills and Knowledge:
o Relationship building and customer service.
o Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficient data management and spreadsheet
creation skills.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
o Highly organized and effective general administration skills.
