Job Title: Assistant Logistic Manager
Responsibilities:
- Ensure truck availability as per daily available orders
- Process all available sales orders and ensure timely dispatch
- Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely delivery of goods within standard lead time
- Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Prepare and circulate daily the dispatch report and escalate dispatch issues with respect to transit
- shortage/damage, credit note to customer and truck breakdowns
- Maintain a healthy relationship with logistics service providers
- Ensure compliance with all relevant government laws and regulations
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by line manager
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND certificate in any related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in an FMCG environment
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to use basic data analysis tools for reporting
