We’re looking for a JavaScript Engineering Team Lead to help us build a high performance, high accuracy online fraud prevention service. We need someone who has experience leading engineering teams, building React apps and powerful APIs.
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent understanding of Internet security & privacy mechanisms.
- Proven experience of API design and implementation.
- Database experience (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Fluent English.
- Experience leading remote engineering teams (preferably across multiple time zones).
- Exceptional engineering experience and great people skills.
Our stack:
- Backend: TypeScript, Node, Express.
- Frontend: TypeScript, React, Storybook.
- AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, SQS, RDS Aurora, EventBridge).
- Netlify + CloudFront.
In this role you will:
- Lead a full-stack JS/TS development team of 7 people.
- Be in charge of your team’s delivery of several products, both internal and customer-facing. From quarterly planning with stakeholders and your team to execution monitoring and timely risk and issue mitigation.
- Be a technical leader and help the team make engineering decisions.
- Be a good people manager, ready to mentor and support the growth of junior and middle level team members, conduct regular 1-on-1s with team members.
