Marketing Manager

Job Purpose

To plan, deliver and report on marketing activity for our risk and security management consultancy services across Europe.

As marketing manager, you will drive demand generation marketing outputs, focussing on planning and tactics that create awareness, consideration and sales conversions. Candidates will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the customer, act as a service specialist, with the ultimate goal of sales conversion. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business e.g. regional and global marketing teams, product and service heads/subject matter experts, and regional sales teams. This is an exciting, hands-on role where you can take ownership of marketing actions and campaigns.

You will be responsible for planning, delivering, measuring and reporting regional marketing activities including events and lead capture/nurture campaigns. With a focus on Europe markets ā€“ you will deliver tailored marketing campaigns with a clear objective of creating leads and supporting their conversion.

Task and Responsibilities

ā€“ Manage the annual marketing, events and content calendar with stakeholders that differentiate our commercial offerings and communicate the Control Risks value add.

ā€“ Plan regional B2B lead generation, capture, and nurture email marketing campaigns via ClickDimensions/MSDynamics.

ā€“ Deliver Control Risksā€™ in-person and virtual events end to end: event planning, event day set-up, email marketing, pre/post event data management, event collateral production, event logistics, and event wrap-up reports utilising EventBrite and GoToWebinar.

ā€“ Manage social media posts via Hootsuite to promote services and events.

ā€“ Report on campaign performance against targets using Excel and ClickDimensions.

ā€“ Deliver sales enablement tools/collateral/content (via timely briefs to our in-house Studio) to support sales/account management teams.

ā€“ Identify priority industry events for Control Risks to attend or sponsor to drive awareness and sales conversion.

ā€“ Build sales funnels and campaign content, assigning content for different stages of the buyer journey (lead generation, capture, and nurture).

ā€“ Work with stakeholders to agree marketing activity based on objectives, existing client intel, market developments, persona criteria, and content requirements.

ā€“ Maintain cost management and processes.

ā€“ Manage external partnership and supplier relationships e.g. conference organisers and membership organisations.

Essential knowledge and experience

ā€“ Excellent working knowledge and experience of CRMs and email marketing platforms like ClickDimensions or similar for business marketing and events marketing.

ā€“ Experience of planning and delivering in-person and virtual events and their associated platforms e.g. GoToWebinar and Eventbrite or similar.

ā€“ Experience of using social media e.g. LinkedIn to promote corporate brands and services using Hootsuite or similar.

ā€“ Experience of delivering lead capture, nurture and conversion campaigns via email marketing/marketing automation platforms.

ā€“ Good working knowledge of GDPR framework and CRM principles.

ā€“ Experience of sales funnels, content marketing and assigning content to buyer journey stages (lead generation, capture, nurture, cross-sell, engagement and re-engagement).

ā€“ Intermediate/Advance level PowerPoint and Excel.

ā€“ Solid analytical acumen with strong commercial, ROI orientation and reporting skills.

ā€“ Collaborative team player with excellent relationship building skills.

ā€“ Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.

ā€“ Excellent communicator, presenter, and written grammar.

ā€“ Experience of working in a matrix environment.

Preferred knowledge and experience

ā€“ Experience of video editing platforms.

ā€“ Experience of website CMS platforms.

ā€“ Knowledge of Google Analytics, PowerBI, and Semrush.

Qualifications

ā€“ Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar.
