Product Manager, Health Insurance

We׳re looking for a talented insurance professional to join a growing and dynamic team focused on developing Casava’s innovative insurance products. In this role, you’ll take the concept to delivery, crafting an experience that makes insurance affordable, simple, and enjoyable.

You’ll collaborate with our actuarial, underwriting, and risk experts to lead the development of coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements. You’ll also team up with our Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval and work closely with the Product team to implement these features—with Casava’s brand values always at the forefront. Once up and running, you’ll also ensure we profitably grow our insurance product.

The best candidate for this role is a highly analytical, creative, and experienced project manager who’s passionate about changing the way that insurance products are delivered to meet our succinct mission.

The product manager will report directly to our VP, Insurance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of health insurance underwriting or actuarial experience.
• Adept at communicating complex concepts in a simple way
• General understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
• Analytical, with a knack for identifying trends, communicating results, and taking action
• Comfortable with, and adaptable to, new technologies
• Track record of prior success, with increasing positions of responsibility
• Willingness and ability to work with individuals in different time zones
• Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• You’re a self-driven, fast learner who loves getting stuff done!
