Job Title: Sales Development Manager
The Role: Plate IQ is looking for an experienced, results-driven Sales Development Manager who will help us continue to build our incredible Sales Development team.
What’s your day-to-day?
The Sales Development Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales Development. This person will be responsible for the day to day of one of the sales development team in order to achieve monthly, quarterly, & yearly targets as set by executive leadership.

Sales Development Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with team members to identify areas of opportunity, coach, and support on an individual level
  • Monitor and maintain regular performance and reporting
  • Ensure metrics for activity are met
  • Network, hire, and support recruiting efforts for growth
  • Regular trainings for continued education of the SDR’s
  • Conduct 1:1s, team meetings, and reviews with individuals, team, and leadership
  • Come up with various ideas for future growth, culture, and collaboration


The ideal candidate is someone who isn’t afraid to jump right in and start identifying ways to succeed faster. We are looking for a team-player with a lot of grit, and passion for SDR’s success. You’ll need to be comfortable being uncomfortable and always take a curious approach as we work to build out this department. You desire to exceed expectations, succeed in all you do, and learn new things along the way. The candidate for this role makes it a priority to get their work done in a timely manner and figures things out resourcefully. Creativity and strategic thinking are needed in the role and there is a lot of room for adding value to the company as a whole while we are still growing.
  • At least 1-2+ years of proven and successful experience managing an SDR team in a fast-paced, B2B technology company
  • Proven ability to understand, develop, and coach individuals to achieve their career goals
  • Experience with prospecting
  • Experience in developing and delivering SDR trainings to help hit key objectives and initiatives
  • Experience with sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Seamless Ai, Gsuite, etc
  • Coordinate & collaborate with AE teams and AE leadership
  • Social presence for networking
  • Occasional travel may be required
