About the Role

We are seeking a creative, proactive, and results-driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our travel company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing our social media platforms, and implementing strategies that increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and travel package bookings.

This role is ideal for someone who understands social media trends, content marketing, and digital promotion techniques, and can turn travel experiences and packages into compelling content that attracts customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute social media content strategies across multiple platforms.
* Create engaging content ideas, captions, and campaigns that promote travel packages and services.
* Plan, schedule, and manage content calendars.
* Manage and grow the company’s social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
* Monitor social media performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Research travel industry trends and competitor activities to identify content opportunities.
* Work closely with management to create promotional campaigns that drive inquiries and bookings.
* Develop creative concepts for photos, videos, reels, and other marketing materials.
* Assist with the setup, monitoring, and optimization of social media advertising campaigns.
* Respond to comments, messages, and online interactions where necessary.
* Track engagement metrics and prepare regular performance reports.
* Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels and marketing materials.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, Digital Marketing Executive, or similar role.
* Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
* Experience managing business social media accounts.
* Knowledge of social media marketing, content planning, and audience engagement strategies.
* Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools.
* Basic understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn advertising.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas.
* Passion for travel, tourism, and lifestyle content is an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

* Resides within Lagos Island, Lekki, Ajah, Ikota, Victoria Island, Chevron, Sangotedo, or nearby areas.
* Self-motivated, innovative, and highly organized.
* Able to work onsite in Ikota-Ajah, Lagos.
* Has a strong understanding of what drives engagement and conversions on social media.
