Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0: Overview

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0 is back with a renewed mission to empower young Nigerian graduates by bridging the gap between academic learning and professional experience. This upgraded edition offers participants real-world job placements, mentorship, and skills development opportunities across sectors in Nigeria. The programme, designed to nurture employability, entrepreneurship, and leadership among youth, officially opens for applications on 22 October 2025 at 5:00 PM (WAT).

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen.

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or HND certificate from any discipline.

  • Have graduated not earlier than 2022.

  • Have at least a Second-Class Lower (2.2) for degree holders or Upper Credit (3.00 or above) for HND holders.

  • Be 30 years old or younger.

  • Be unemployed at the time of application.

  • Have completed NYSC or possess a valid NYSC exemption certificate.

  • Demonstrate interest and commitment to a chosen career field and to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.

  • Exhibit strong communication skills, professionalism, and time management abilities.

Programme Components

Participants (Fellows) will engage in:

  • Practical on-the-job experience aligned with their academic background.

  • Professional development workshops and mentorship sessions.

  • Performance evaluations to track growth and readiness for long-term employment.

Application Requirements

Applicants must provide the following documents:

  1. Notarized Degree or HND Certificate

  2. NYSC Certificate or Exemption Letter

  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  4. National Identification Number (NIN) Slip

  5. Bank Verification Number (BVN)

Application Process

  1. Online Application Form (available on the NJFP portal).

  2. Computer-Based Aptitude Test to assess analytical and problem-solving skills.

  3. Psychometric Test to evaluate personality traits and career alignment.

  4. Video Submission: A 60-second video answering the question, “What makes you the ideal NJFP Fellow?”

    • Must not exceed 60 seconds or 10MB in size.

Technical Requirements

  • Devices: Smartphone (Android 8.0+/iOS 12+) or Laptop/Desktop (Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+, Linux 18.04+).

  • RAM: Minimum 2GB for mobile, 4GB for desktop.

  • Browser Compatibility: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, or Opera Mini.

  • Internet: 3G/4G LTE recommended (5G supported).

  • Security: 2FA recommended; ensure devices are updated with latest patches.

Selection Criteria

  • Academic performance and eligibility.

  • Performance in aptitude and psychometric tests.

  • Quality of video response and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated motivation and commitment to national development.
