Marketing & Strategy Coordinator
Description
Our client, a leading organisation in the formwork and scaffolding industry is looking to recruit a marketing & strategy coordinator who will be responsible for the following.
- Develop and improve new and existing digital channels.
- Explore and develop new marketing opportunities to improve the company’s brand visibility and generate sales leads.
- Help deliver the overall marketing plan and day-to-day marketing tasks to position the organisation as a market leader.
Job Responsibilities
- Initial special focus on customer engagement via training and email marketing
- To develop a sound understanding of company’s products and services and the benefits they provide our customers
- Market research and monitoring, creation, and maintenance of the relevant fact base maintain a clear and detailed understanding of the business segments to identify and validate opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify and validate opportunities
- Evaluation of validated opportunities for the formulation of market strategies in close collaboration with the Managing Director and the Sales Manager Support the deployment of the company market strategy by acting as central coordinator between all involved subsidiary functions.
- Communicate market requirements, segment strategy, and strategic measures to all stakeholders in the subsidiary including the wider Market Unit as required,
- Manage and coordinate subsidiary strategic marketing activities with Managing Director & Sales Manager in the target segments to drive segment turnover, relevant market share, and profitability
- Engage with local customers and Sales organisation to gather a comprehensive understanding of the segment and the related customer journey (user experience)
- Challenge local sales on the market potential within annual planning and always!• Manage the maintenance and monitoring of our social media channels
- Coordinate design work, and video media and then liaise with external support to deliver print and digital marketing collateral• Manage the development of creative marketing materials and sales tools, primarily to support the sales team
- To oversee a schedule of customer-focused regional events• To be involved with other marketing projects and tasks as required

Requirements
- Degree in Marketing or Engineering (or construction related)
- Expert skills in strategic marketing from other industries with the ability to transfer these to our business an added advantage
- Ability to think strategically, communicate a vision and influence the other stakeholders
- Proactive, results-driven with a pragmatic mindset
- Ability to understand customer needs and behaviors
- Expert knowledge of the target segments – Construction and Oil & Gas would be an added advantage
- Good hands-on knowledge and experience with MS Office Applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Open-minded, energetic, and persistent
